🎃Spooky Summerween Ideas!

👻Etsy shop update!

Greetings!

Greetings! When the warmth of summer meets the spooky vibes of Halloween, that’s when we start to celebrate SUMMERWEEN! It may sound like a silly made-up holiday but it’s a fun way to spookify summer activities while preparing for autumn. As we work on new secret spooky content, please enjoy this Spooky Season YouTube playlist with our favorite videos:

SHOP SMALL THIS SPOOKY SEASON: Jonas is happy to offer some NEW art prints, t-shirts, and tote bag designs to fulfill your longing for autumn!

A note from our hearts: Summerween is a great opportunity to shop smaller. Many talented artists out there need customers like you during the holidays, especially Summertime, which can be very scary and slow for small businesses.

Try to re-consider buying the same “Code Orange” decor as everyone else or buying a mass-produced product, why not order something unique that was created from one person’s creative heart? Supporting smaller businesses is usually a more environmentally friendly option and encouraging artists of all sorts.

We recently attended the first Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival and it was a splash success! It was mermazing to see the villagers come together at the Hudson River for some Summerween fun and celebrate the 150th anniversary of Sleepy Hollow. We sure got a taste of the spooktacular fun to come this Halloween season.
With our best wishes,
- Jonas & Lindsay Dianne💛
P.S. We created a groovy Summerween Spotify playlist exclusively for our Patreon Pals!

What we are currently reading in Our Cozy Cottage Book Club: “The Borrowers” by Mary Norton (1952) "a tale of three tiny people who are big heroes. The Clock family—Homily, Pod, and their fourteen-year-old daughter, Arrietty—are tiny people who live underneath the kitchen floor of an English manor. All their minuscule home furnishings, from postage stamp paintings to champagne cork chairs, are “borrowed” from the “human beans” who tromp around loudly above them. All is well until Pod is spotted upstairs by a human boy! Can the Clocks stay nested safely in their beloved hidden home, or will they be forced to flee?"
